Somerset Lakeside Resort is located 2.5 hours North of the GTA and 2.5 hours East of Ottawa. Located in Highlands East on Paudash Lake, our resort is a perfect setting providing breathtaking and ever changing views of the seasons. For those who enjoy hiking, Silent Lake Provincial Park is only a five-minute drive. For those seeking more adventure, Algonquin Park is just an hour drive away. Paudash Lake is a spring-fed lake, perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing. We are 20 minutes South of Bancroft, which offers plenty of shops, restaurants, grocery stores and larger box stores. Activities such as golfing, hiking, cross country skiing and snowmobiling are all available locally for those who wish to enjoy and explore all that the area has to offer!
